Points in spades is 4
Points in hearts is 1
Points in diamonds is 2 + 1 = 3
Points in clubs is 6 + 4 + 2 = 12
Add total cards in the two longest suits: 5 + 3 = 8
Add the difference between the longest suit minus the shortest suit: 5 - 2 = 3
Add the points in each suit: 4 + 1 + 3 + 12 = 20
Zar points is: 8 + 3 + 20 = 31     An opening in Zar (eq 12-14 pts)
